BUNAKEN, JALANJALANAJA- Bunaken National Park is a marine park located in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The park is located in the Coral Triangle which is home to 390 species of coral reefs as well as various species of fish, molluscs, reptiles, and marine mammals.

Bunaken National Park is a representative of Indonesia's marine ecosystem, including sea grass, coral reefs, and coastal ecosystems. Bunaken National Park has a very rich coral reef ecosystem. There are about 390 species of coral reefs in this area.

The algae species that can be found in Bunaken National Park are Caulerpa, Halimeda, and Padina, while the most common seaweed species are Thalassia hemprichii, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassaodendron ciliatum. Bunaken National Park also has various species of fish, marine mammals, reptiles, birds, mollusks and mangroves. About 90 species of fish live in the waters of this region.

Address and Route Location

This National Park is located in the Manado area. So, native friends who want to visit this area can take a plane to Manado city first. Then, from Sam Ratulangi International Airport the journey continues to Manado City by using a taxi as the fastest and most convenient transportation.

From Manado, native friends will be directed to the Marina Blue Banter port. Then, take a boat to Bunaken Island which will take approximately 20 minutes. After that, native friends can have fun in this area.

Entrance Fee to Bunaken Marine Park

Entering the Bunaken Marine Park, each visitor will be charged an entrance ticket of IDR 50,000/person for one entry. And Rp. 150.000,-/person which is valid for 1 year. If you buy a ticket that is valid for 1 year, you will be given a badge made of plastic instead of a ticket.

For those of you who want to try diving in the Bunaken marine park, access to reach the Bunaken Marine Park can be reached by using transportation to Bunaken which is already available, namely a motorboat from the coast of Manado Bay.
